Henan Xinxiang 453000) Abstract: This paper focuses on the research of application strategies of lean cost concept in enterprise inventory management. Firstly, it sorts out the basic concepts of lean cost theory and inventory management and their coupling relationship, and analyzes the necessity of applying lean cost to enterprise inventory management; Secondly, it identifies the main constraints such as weak data foundation, departmental collaboration barriers, insufficient adaptability of traditional methods, and the lack of lean thinking and skills among personnel; Finally, in response to these issues, it proposes four strategic suggestions: building a real-time data governance system, establishing an end-to-end collaboration mechanism, developing a dynamic lean inventory model, and implementing hierarchical lean capability training, with the aim of providing theoretical guidance and practical reference for enterprises to optimize inventory management and reduce operational costs.
