On November 1, 2026, the series of industry standards for large-model platforms approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, along with YD/T 7173-2026, officially came into effect. These standards provide a compliance reference for businesses implementing artificial intelligence search and generative engine optimization (GEO), covering content credibility, data compliance, and platform acceptance rules.
This means that GEO involves not only whether content is accepted by generative systems, but also whether the content itself is trustworthy and whether data is used compliantly. For businesses and relevant service providers, content preparation, data use, and the design of optimization plans may all require closer review.

The implementation of these standards provides a reference for standardizing artificial intelligence marketing services. However, how they apply to different business scenarios and their actual impact on service processes and platform acceptance remain to be assessed in light of the specific standards and subsequent practice.
