Internationally, there have been several noteworthy policy adjustments recently. The Indian government announced the relaxation of rice export restrictions - except for Indian basmati rice, export restrictions on other rice varieties have been eased, with paddy rice export tariffs also reduced to 10%. This policy helps enhance the international competitiveness of Indian rice and expand export scale.
Meanwhile, in the United States, the International Trade Commission issued a negative injury determination regarding aluminum extrusion products from China, Vietnam and 14 other countries/regions, revoking anti-dumping and countervailing duty orders. This means trade barriers will decrease for related companies in the U.S. market, helping improve product competitiveness.
Additionally, Brazil and Argentina have implemented different tax incentive measures. Brazil increased import tariffs on solar components but maintains zero tariffs within quotas until June 30, 2025, aiming to encourage local production and job creation. Argentina simplified import procedures for home appliances including air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines to reduce consumer prices. While these measures don't directly mention tax incentives, simplified import procedures similarly help lower business costs.
