Impressive! Google Browser's New Plugin Arrives: WeChat Can Now Chat with ChatGPT

           On March 3rd, blogger @SmartCat revealed that a new "plaything" called "ChatGPT for WeChat" appeared in the Google Chrome extension store. This plugin essentially integrates ChatGPT into WeChat, allowing users to directly converse with ChatGPT through WeChat, though it currently cannot automate replies on behalf of users.

       For those who haven't tried it, there's no need to feel regret. Currently, AI chatting is more about finding amusement—seeing how smart it is or whether its responses are interesting. To some extent, its practicality isn't as high as we might expect. From a conversational perspective, ChatGPT's current functionality still falls short of some account-based chatbots or AI that manages user accounts.

        The day ChatGPT can function like a chatbot, automatically replying to WeChat messages for us or managing accounts when we're busy, is when its true practicality will emerge. However, highly intelligent AI chatbots can also "confuse hearing and vision"—sometimes it's hard to tell whether you're talking to a real person or a bot, which is quite awkward.

        Regardless, ChatGPT is a groundbreaking intelligent product of our era. Many companies have already developed a series of derivative products based on ChatGPT. Microsoft's new Bing has become one of the top search engine choices, enabling conversational searches that greatly enhance interactivity and introduce new advertising opportunities. Although ChatGPT hasn't yet transformed how we use WeChat, I believe that moment will come sooner or later.

        Meanwhile, ChatGPT is further influencing major internet platforms. Not having a "GPT" feature almost feels like falling behind. Don’t underestimate AI—while it may seem silly at times, it’s gradually permeating our lives and playing a significant role.
