Domain Name Real-name Authentication  

To comply with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's regulations on real-name verification for domain name holders, Alibaba Cloud will fully implement domain name real-name authentication. Domain name real-name authentication includes domain name naming review (where the domain name will be assessed by national regulatory authorities to determine if it contains characters prohibited by policies) and verification of the domain name holder's identity information.

Domain names requiring real-name verification or naming review

According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's 2017 requirements for full implementation of domain name real-name authentication, Alibaba Cloud has received notices from relevant registration authorities: If a domain name fails real-name verification within the specified time, it will be suspended (Serverhold) by the registration authority and become inaccessible until the real-name verification is passed. Affected domain name suffixes include: .cn/.中国/.公司/.网络/.xin/.com/.net/.top/.xyz/.vip/.club/.shop/.wang/.ren/.site/.我爱你/.集团/.biz/.red/.kim/.pro/.info/.mobi/.ltd/.group/.link/.ink/.在线/.中文网/.网址/.work/.online/.tech/.fun/.store/.网店.

Methods for Domain Name Real-name Verification

According to China Internet Domain Name Management Regulations , domain name registration applicants must submit true, accurate, and complete domain name registration information.

Method 1: After successful domain name registration, submit real-name verification materials independently.

Method 2: If real-name verification materials were not submitted promptly after registration, log in toAlibaba Cloud Platform, click the Finance module, select Domain Name Management, view theDomain Name List page under Unverified Domain Names > Fill in real-name verification materials, and click Submit.
