Abstract: Currently, some public institutions face issues in fixed assets management such as non-standard procurement and acceptance procedures, inadequate usage and maintenance, outdated asset management information, and untimely disposal and scrapping. These problems lead to financial waste, idle fixed assets, and negatively impact the long-term development of public institutions. This paper explores the existing problems and causes in fixed assets management of public institutions and proposes improvement suggestions, aiming to enhance the level of fixed assets management and promote the sustainable development of public institutions.
