Lean management can effectively enhance production and service quality, and its introduction into public hospital operations has become a key approach to optimizing resource allocation and improving service efficiency. This paper conducts an in-depth study on the application of lean management in cost control for public hospital operations. Based on an analysis of the core concepts of lean management, it explores the main issues encountered in cost control within public hospitals and further proposes specific applications of lean management in this context.
