The progress of the era drives the informatization construction of financial management, where informatization can provide precise data support for financial work in institutional units and achieve fully automated financial processes. However, currently, there are still some shortcomings in the financial informatization of some institutional units, such as insufficient risk management awareness among some employees, incomplete management mechanisms for informatization, inadequate professional capabilities of some financial personnel, and the lack of a sound supervision mechanism for informatization construction within some units, making it difficult for them to efficiently advance financial management informatization reforms. This paper focuses on institutional units, analyzing the importance of financial management informatization construction under the big data background, explores the current state of informatization construction, and proposes targeted improvement suggestions. It summarizes the challenges and countermeasures in financial management informatization construction, aiming to provide valuable references for enhancing the quality and efficiency of financial management in institutional units.
